Our take
The K1C is the K1 hardened for serious materials: a clog-resistant direct extruder, 300°C-capable hotend and an enclosed chamber that tames ABS, ASA and carbon-fiber blends. 600mm/s peak speeds and auto leveling come standard, and the AI camera watches for spaghetti. A sensible engineering-workhorse pick.
Pros
- Carbon-fiber-ready direct extruder
- Enclosed chamber at mid-range price
- 600mm/s CoreXY motion
- AI camera failure detection
Cons
- Klipper firmware partially locked down
- Noise above ~300mm/s
- Cloud features need a Creality account
Verdict
The budget entry into enclosed, engineering-grade printing — the CF-capable machine the K1 should have been.
